This girl.

Due to Covid, she finished 8th grade online and spent the first three quarters of her freshman year on Zoom. When students were given the option to return to in-person school during 4th quarter, there was never a doubt that she’d go back.

The kid is busy. Every day she packs three bags and a lunch: one for schoolwork, a second for soccer, and a third for the barn where she works after school helping out with horse camps and chores. She bounces from the horse barn to the soccer field with ease, oftentimes with such little time between that she has to change clothes in the car. Boots off, cleats on, repeat. No complaints.

She has so many talents, passions, nicknames, and fans. She’s the kid who has friends at every lunch table in the cafeteria, but enjoys chatting with her teachers just as much. Neighbors trust her with their pets, their children, and their homes.

I’m so proud of my well-rounded, hard-working, and kind-hearted daughter. How did we get so lucky?!
